. . . . hovering over the honey tree. For the past couple of days, we’ve set out a variety of honeys by the register to give customers a taste! We’ve got the staple local raw wildflower honey, orange blossom, lavender, cherry, and briar. We’ve also got a honey with a sizeable chunk of honeycomb included. Two clients who came in today recounted their honeybee related stories, especially one of a thriving hive that was exterminated (!!!) by the local power company for preventing meter readings. We got around to talking about the current honeybee plight. In any case, just today, I stumbled across this article from Discover magazine which discusses the topic in some detail. Maybe some people will be interested.
