American cheese is going to take you all by storm! Here’s an article from the Wall Street Journal about how American artisanal cheeses are becoming more widely available in Europe. And guess what? Europeans are buying! The article speaks quite a bit about the cheeses Pleasant Ridge Reserve and Rogue River Blue, which, incidentally, the store carries (unless we’ve sold out by now . . .). It may take some time to convince the French that artisans from other countries, and yes, even Americans, can produce cheeses worthy of their delicate palates, but I am convinced that day will come soon!
