This week, Miss Cheesemonger is going to leave the city life temporarily to visit some cheese makers and cheese shops in the Napa region. I am excited about this, especially with the prospect of cuddling some goat kids at Redwood Hill Farm! Additionally, I am hoping to buckle down and learn more about wine, so we will be meeting with some folks from that industry as well, particularly Jacques Brix, VP of Wines & Vines magazine. I’m shuttling around with a photographer with some nice equipment, so at least this time, you all will be spared my digital camera!
This evening, Mr. Cheesemonger and I tried to put a dent in that huge amount of cheese and charcuterie we purchased for the postponed networking event I was working on. One wheel of coulommiers was finished! And . . . there’s still a lot left.
