Miss Cheesemonger In Print

Hello, my friends! M. Cheesemonger and I just got back from a week off in some warmer climates. I am still rushing around trying to get back into the swing of life, so you can expect the full report next week! In the meantime, though, I wanted to share a couple of awesome publication-related things with you!

My friend Jackie Varriano recently asked for my thoughts on the color of cheddar in her article for Lucky Peach’s website. In it, she examines the significance of yellow and white tones in this beloved cheese. I am so honored she asked me! I am such a huge fan of Lucky Peach!

San Francisco Milk Maid Louella Hill asked me to photograph her making a cream cheese frosting from scratch, and you can find the mouthwatering results in the Autumn 2016 issue of Culture Magazine! Find it on newsstands near you. Culture holds a special place in my heart—the magazine first began publishing issues just before I started working in cheese, so I like to think we are leading parallel cheese existences.

What’s on your cheese plate this week? Let me know in the comments below!

XOXO
