Hello, my friends! I hope you’ve all been tasting new cheeses lately. Life has been pretty busy around here in the Cheesemonger household. M. Cheesemonger and I have been spending more time in France lately, and I have fallen in love with martial arts this year. Life keeps offering us many wondrous and delightful surprises.
That said, I’ve also been cooking up the next Miss Cheesemonger Sings recital, and I can’t wait to share it with you all. This is the 4th cheese pairing recital, and the first one held live after the pandemic. I cannot wait to see all your faces again after so much time away!!
I started holding this recital in 2019, and it has grown in popularity with each year. This time, Cheese Plus owner Ray Bair, collaborative pianist Dwight Okamura, and I are putting on a little cabaret-themed musical evening for you. Ray and I selected the cheeses a couple weeks ago (there are 7 cheeses and one sweet finish), and they are all so scrumptious and spectacular. Along with the music, they make for some pretty memorable pairings! More recently, one of my dearest friends Sarah and I went dress shopping for recital dress magic, and I think we found some stunning recital dresses for you! :)
